Product basics
Does EduPay process payments?
No. EduPay tracks who paid what — parents continue to pay you by cash, bank transfer, or Revolut as before. EduPay records the payment and updates the parent's view automatically. We don't take a cut of any payment.
Do parents need an app?
No. Parents scan a QR code with their phone camera and see a simple web page. No app, no account, no login — works on any phone, instantly.
How long does setup take?
Most institutes finish setup in 30–60 minutes. The flow is: import students from a CSV, define classes and prices, print QR codes for parents.
Do I need any technical knowledge?
None. If you can use a smartphone, you can use EduPay. The interface is clean and straightforward — no IT experience required.
What devices does EduPay work on?
The admin dashboard works on any modern browser — laptop, desktop, tablet, phone. The parent QR view is mobile-first and works on any phone with a camera.

Cyprus & language
Does EduPay work in Cyprus?
Yes. Cyprus is our primary market. EduPay is used by institutes across Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca, and Paphos. Pricing is in euros and the platform is designed around the Cyprus billing reality (cash, transfer, Revolut).
Is the parent view available in Greek?
The parent QR view shows mostly numbers, dates, and month labels — it works regardless of language. Full Greek localization for the admin dashboard is on the near-term roadmap.
Where is my data hosted?
EduPay runs on Google Firebase with European data centers and is built to GDPR standards.
Pricing & trial
How much does EduPay cost?
Plans start at €15/month for institutes with up to 20 students. See the pricing section on the homepage for the full breakdown across Starter, Growth, and Pro tiers.
Is there a free trial?
Yes — 1 month free. No card required to start. Cancel anytime before the trial ends and you won't be charged.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from the Settings page in your admin dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep full access until then. Your data is retained for 30 days after expiration.
What happens if I reach my student limit?
You'll be prompted to upgrade to the next plan. Existing data stays exactly as it is — you just unlock more capacity. Upgrades take effect immediately.
Payments & tracking
Can I track overdue payments?
Yes. The dashboard auto-flags every student with an overdue balance and shows you exactly how much and for how long. No manual reconciliation.
Can I record cash, bank transfer, and Revolut payments differently?
Yes. When you record a payment, you can tag the method. Reports filter by method so your accountant gets a clean breakdown.
Can I add one-off fees (exams, recitals, deposits)?
Yes. Add an extra charge to any student in any month. It appears on the parent's QR view alongside the regular monthly fee.
Can I export data?
Yes. CSV export with filters by date range, class, and payment method. Friendly for accountants and audits.
Security & privacy
Is my data secure?
Yes. EduPay runs on Google Firebase with strict role-based security rules. Only authenticated admins access your data; the parent QR page is read-only and shows only minimal, non-sensitive information.
What does the parent see on the QR page?
Only the student's name, class, monthly fee, and current balance. No phone numbers, no other students, no admin functionality. Each QR token is unique and secure.
Can I delete a student or my account?
Yes. Students can be marked inactive (preserves history) or deleted (removes all data). Account deletion is available from the Settings page and removes all associated data after the retention period.
